How long do sessions last for?

Sessions last for 50-60 minutes. .

How much do sessions cost?

I offer a free initial 30 minute session (daytime) & then...

£50-£60 for individual counselling

£60-£70 for couples counselling

£60 per hour for clinical supervision. 

I offer reduced fees under certain circumstances i.e. for those on benefits / students. 

Payment is by cash or direct bank transfer, prior to or at the time of the session. 

When are sessions?

Counselling sessions are usually weekly.  I offer both short-term and long-term work.   I offer daytime, evening and weekend appointments.  Set appointment times can be discussed when we meet.  There are no set amount of sessions - the amount of sessions depend on client need.

What should I expect?

After our initial telephone conversation, we can make an appointment to meet if that feels right.  In our first session we can explore what has brought you to counselling and then you can see whether you would like to continue working with me. 

What if I need to cancel a session?

I ask for 48 hours notice if you cannot attend a session, otherwise you will be charged the full session fee.
